Western Carbons' filter media pumps have been designed to provide an environmental and efficient way to place all types of media into all types of filters. By using water to transport the filter media through a flexible hose the operation is completely clean and dust free. The water used for placement may be recycled so that only a small quantity is required and none is discharged to waste.

Our system has many advantages:-

Filter Media All types of filter media may be pumped including gravel up to 25mm in diameter.
Filters The filters may be inside buildings or hard to access places. The media can be pumped up to 250m through flexible hose
Water All we require is a supply of water. This can be kept to a minimum by recycling.
Water Discharge None is discharged to waste.
Water Pressure We do not require any specific water pressure to install the media.
The Pump The pump itself is completely rubber lined and operates at low pressure ensuring no degradation of the filter media.
Media Placement 20 cubic meters of media may be placed an hour.
Media Supply The media pump can accept filter media from tote bags or directly from the grain hatch of bulk tippers.
Placement Operation The operation is quiet, dust free and completely clean.
Power The pump comes complete with its own power unit and generator.
